Train at home, at a gym or with a local trainer. We can develop the program you need. Regardless of fitness level, experience, past injuries, limitations or age – a Personal Training Program will be custom developed for your implementation. Safely and effectively. About Kathy
Kathy has over 25 years of experience in fitness training, personal training, seniors exercise training and athletic training. She has a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation from the University of Arizona. And a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, Teaching, from the University of Buffalo.
She is American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) certified: Exercise Physiologist, Advanced Personal Trainer, Senior Exercise Instructor. She is a certified Elite Personal Trainer by IDEA Health & Fitness. She is certified Level II with Exercise is Medicine. She also holds current CPR and AED certifications.

At Body Vision you will be assessed before an individually prescribed strength and endurance program is designed. You will learn about the overload principle that will allow your body to adapt at the tissue level to your training. You will improve functional capacity through a full range of motion. You delay the muscle mass decline from sarcopenia, a natural aging process.
Home/Gym/Trainer programs will be designed and taught to you. With the help of pictures and descriptions, you will be 100% functional at home on your own and a log to record your progress. Your trainer can then periodically review your log for updates and reassessments.

Balance & Coordination Training
Body Vision will teach you to focus on daily movements that help prevent and postpone age-related declines in balance & coordination. Movements to improve motor skills such as balance, agility, coordination, and gait will be incorporated into your program.

Posture & Flexibility Training
Posture & Flexibility Training
Your current posture will be evaluated. Are you starting to develop a little forward neck? Rounded shoulders? Cell phones and lap tops can wreak havoc on our spines. Learn how to counter your repetitive poor posture positions, allowing your muscles to hold the spine in its’ natural healthy alignment.
Your current level of flexibility and joint range-of-motion will be assessed. You will learn about static stretching, dynamic stretching and foam roller techniques. Program development will be specific to your needs.

Cardiovascular Training
Cardiovascular Training
Cardiorespiratory endurance should be a major focus of all conditioning programs. It reflects the development and status of the cardiac and respiratory systems.
The major training methods to improve cardiovascular endurance include: High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), continuous training, circuit training, and combination approaches. These exercise bouts each include a warm- up, a training phase and a cool- down.
We will assess your current level of cardiorespiratory fitness and recommend a training program accordingly. Progression will be planned to best help you reach your health and fitness goals within your limits

- A custom-designed training program will be prescribed
