COVID-19: Adjusting to our New Normal-
Exercise is Essential for Well-Being during this Pandemic.
Measures taken worldwide and locally to reduce the spread of COVID-19 are causing changes and disruptions in everyday schedules for all of us.
Exercise is particularly important now to help keep our lungs healthy, reduce stress, prevent fat gain and /or muscle loss, and to boost our immune system and improve sleep.
Whether you plan on returning to your gym or trainer or focus on a home exercise program – we can help get you started – safely and effectively.
The Studio is open, with changes in place to protect you and our staff from the spread of the virus. The adjustments made to the studio and protocols in place for clients have been mandated by The CT Department of Health, and the State of CT.
We are booking by appointment only, with an hour between clients in order to disinfect the studio, and purify the air. Clients must wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth. Staff will be wearing a mask, as well. Touchable surfaces will be completely wiped down prior to your arrival. There will be hand sanitizer available in several locations, and a designated area to place coats and other belongings.
A restroom is available if needed, and will be cleaned and sanitized between appointments. Paper towels will be available as well as antibacterial soap and hand sanitizer.
Your temperature will be taken upon your arrival, outside, on the porch. You will be asked several health questions. If any symptoms are present, you will be asked to re-schedule.
While all of these changes help reduce the possibility of spreading the COVID virus, there is still some risk. Please consider your personal health situation, and those of your family members, carefully before booking an appointment.
